#FF: Our Latest Favourite Instagram Accounts14th Aug
Instagram is our go-to app to get style inspiration, travel envy or simply to pass the time on our lunch hour. While we acknowledge there’s a lot of rubbish on there – endless selfies of Z-list celebrities, we’re looking at you – there’s also some incredible photography that has us reaching for the camera on our iPhones.
We love discovering new accounts to keep our Instagram filled with the most interesting, funny or stylish pictures on offer. And we’re about to share who we’ve been following this week:
Pause Magazine - @pause_onlineWe’re big fans of the guys at Pause Mag anyway and their heady mixture of street styling, accessory close ups and quirky quotes streamlines their top stories straight to our phones. Always ahead of the game when it comes to season drops and cracking interviews, @pause_online is the first account we’ll check for industry news.
Paul Smith - @paul_smith, @paulsmithdesignWe’ve cheated a bit here and included two for Paul Smith. @paulsmithdesign is the official account, showing off images from their latest collection and branding. Their use of splitting photos to create a new layout brings a whole new contemporary element to their feed. @paul_smith is Paul’s personal account which offers an insight into his colourful imagination.
The Drop Date - @thedropdateIf your footwear is the life and soul of your wardrobe, then @thedropdate is set to become a firm favourite. On a mission to help organise the chaos on all European trainer releases and where you can find them, we guarantee you’ll be upgrading your old Converse in hours.
Jefferson Pires - @schlboycoutureSplitting his time between Manchester and London, Jefferson’s keen photography skills set him apart from the usual fashion/lifestyle accounts you find. Documenting his travels, tattoos, skateboarding and anything else that he draws inspiration from, you may find yourself scrolling through his endless pictures for hours.
On The Roofs - @raskalovNot the faint hearted, @raskalov and his friends travel the world, climb ridiculously high buildings and photograph the effort. Beware; as we sift through these images, it does tend to make our lives feel a little… dull.
