The team took home the ‘Fastest Car Award’ as well as the ‘Best Engineered Car Awards. Runners-up ‘Porthcawl Power’ from Porthcawl Primary School were also highly praised by the judges after their car completed the track in just over 1 second. The two winning teams were very proud of their titles, Emoji team captain, Dylan Sollit described the competition as a great experience and was particularly happy to have ‘learnt how to use a 3D printer, laser cutter and Silhouette Studio’.
