Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final26th Mar
Sunday saw the final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy take centre stage on the hallowed Wembley turf. Contested between Bristol City and Walsall FC, it was a fantastic occasion attended by 72,315 loyal fans from both clubs. Part of the Walsall contingent included our very own Luke Roper who was there to support his home town club as well as cast an eye over the best dressed team. That was of course the Saddlers who Luke suited for the final and despite not winning the trophy played a great game and certainly looked the part on their big day. Bristol City were just too strong and ran out 2 – 0 winners, so congratulations to the Robins and it also looks like they could be on for the double this season. A fantastic day for all concerned and one that will live long in the memory for both teams!!
