As a thank you to the phenomenal work being carried out by our frontline Key Workers, LUKE 1977 have incorporated a giveaway to ten Key Workers as part of the new launch.
To put forward a Key Worker and provide them with a chance of winning the entire Dapper Villan collection simply head to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram and tag them in the competition post. One lucky winner will also receive the entire collaborative range of clothing!
LUKE 1977 will also generously be donating 30% of sales from the new range to the University Hospitals Birmingham Trust Charity. The Trust supports our brilliant Hospitals in Birmingham including The Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull Hospitals.
Justine Davy, Head of Fundraising at University Hospitals Birmingham Charity, said: “On behalf of our 20,000 members of staff across our hospitals I would like to thank LUKE and Aston Villa for choosing University Hospitals Birmingham Charity as the beneficiary partner for the Dapper Villan collection. At this really difficult time we are using the generous donations that we receive to fund those things that will make a difference to our NHS Superheroes and the patients that they are treating.
“We’re funding staff welfare hubs and wobble rooms so that our hardworking staff members can spend some time away from the ward and relax in a calming environment, full of drinks, snacks and toiletries, with plenty of comfortable furniture. Alongside this we’re funding mindfulness sessions and other mental health support to help staff to process the difficult things that they’ve witnessed in recent times.
“For patients across the Trust we’ve funded tablets so that they can stay in touch with their loved ones via video chat, as they cannot receive visitors, and we’re also funding radios and activity packs to keep them entertained.
“Thank you LUKE and Aston Villa, and thank you to the whole Villa family for your support at this challenging time. You can find out more about our work at hospitalcharity.org/nhsheroes.”
*Winners will be selected and contacted on Monday 11th May. Terms and Conditions Apply.
